The Toddy Shop is a Malayali-owned Kerala cuisine restaurant located inside Durango Social Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. Founded by Chef Hemant Kishore, a proud Malayali originally from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, it represents the first authentic Kerala dining experience in Las Vegas. The restaurant celebrates Malayalam culture and Kerala’s distinct culinary heritage while offering an inviting, Kerala-inspired atmosphere where Malayalis and locals can enjoy familiar flavors and warm hospitality.

Chef Hemant Kishore’s culinary journey began in Kerala, where he studied Hotel Management and trained in India’s finest luxury hotels before advancing his education at the world-renowned Culinary Institute of America in New York. With experience in Michelin-starred kitchens, he blends refined cooking techniques with the soulful, traditional recipes of Kerala. The Toddy Shop’s menu includes popular Malayali favorites such as Kerala beef fry, natholi fry, uzhunnu vada, appam, and ishtu—each prepared with carefully chosen spices to deliver genuine Kerala taste while following all local Nevada hospitality and food safety standards.
